Our Story
After 14 years of traveling across the country, Bill was ready for a more stationary occupation. Years of staying in RV Parks and campgrounds while traveling for the pipeline taught him the do’s and don’ts of the camping lifestyle. Knowing this, Katie and Bill decided to look into buying a campground of their own. After searching through real estate listings of established campgrounds and none of them fitting their visions properly, Katie suggested to look for riverfront property and build it into a campground. Froggy’s was found on a listing on Facebook Marketplace as nothing but property and a house that the previous owners had lived in. Bill and Katie saw the potential and purchased the property in February of 2019.
The first year of owning the property was filled with a lot of blood, sweat, and tears for us as we navigated our new lifestyle. We officially invited campers to join us Labor Day Weekend of 2019 after spending those long months getting the utilities ran, roads mapped out, floating gear purchased, cabin and office stationed, and ground maintained. We are currently nearing the end of our third summer of being open and our fourth of owning the property and couldn’t dream of doing things differently. We love all of our campers and the experiences that we have gained from Froggy’s!
Our Team

Bill Ming
Owner, Supervisor, Personal Relations, Floating Expert, Bus Driver, “Make it happen Man”.
Bill makes sure everyone is happy and having a good time. He’s an expert at talking and you can expect to see him stop at your campsite.
Hannah Ming
Office Manager, Reservation Coordinator, Personal Relations, Floating Expert, Web Designer, Social Media Manager.
Hannah answers most of the phone calls, messages, and sets up your reservation. When you check into Froggy’s, you’ll see her behind the desk ready to help!
Travis Smith
Floating expert, Personal Relations, Bus Driver.
Travis loves to talk to people. She’s floated the Gasconade River hundreds of times and knows it like the back of her hand. She also helps with general campground operations and helps coordinate events that are held here. If you have a question or concern about your float or stay, feel free to ask!
We also have two furry friends that like to check in on you during your stay
If you have pets of your own that don’t get along with ours, an allergy, or any issue with our dogs please let us know and we will be more than happy to take care of it!
Oliver
He loves to wander from campsite to campsite and see what everyone is having for dinner. He loves food, but is picky about what he’ll accept and only likes meat products, ice cream, and cool whip. If you’d like to share your dinner with him, be sure to make him show you his tricks!
Katie Ming

Katie enjoys visiting the campsites and meeting the people that stay at Froggy’s. If you have a thought on how to improve our park, she’s who to talk to and is happy to see what we can do!
Thomas Donovan
Ground Maintenance, Wood Delivery, Personal Relations, Floating Expert, Bus Driver.
You’ll see Thomas out delivering firewood and doing general ground upkeep while you stay with us. He’s pretty much Bill’s understudy; if you need help with anything, let him know!
Gizmo
She loves to hide under the office and greet you when you first arrive. At the ripe age of twelve, Gizmo doesn’t visit your site much but when she does she loves to be gently pet and snack on your scraps!
